Trashissima

Trashissima is a series of photographs made during travels across Italy in 2023-24.

Italy is one colossal, extravagant film set, where the grandeur of classical antiquity collides with the vulgarity and sleaze of its seediest dives. A country of extremes, where the sublime and the trashy coexist in all their glorious excess.
